The Kortz Center Heist gives Career Progress players a reason to look beyond the main take. Tier 4 asks for 15 Platinum awards, the Elite Challenge, five saved paintings, and $50,000,000 in loot, so every gallery visit matters. If you're mapping out the run with friends or checking GTA 5 Accounts options before setting up a crew, put Rockhound and Meteoritics near the top of the plan. They're linked to rare display items inside the Albert Crisp Collection in Pacific Bluffs.
Know What Counts
Rockhound requires five separate gemstones, not five copies of whatever happens to be available. The set includes Yellow Topaz, Purple Sapphire, Coquard Carcanet Tanzanite, Perlino Andalusian, and Emerald. Meteoritics is smaller but just as picky: three different meteorite fragments are needed. Both awards depend on the Crisp Gallery, which is tucked behind locked upper exhibition doors. That's why a fast finale can still leave you short on award progress.
| Award | Required finds | Key condition | | Rockhound | Five gemstone varieties | Collect each named jewel | | Meteoritics | Three meteorite fragments | Find distinct fragments |
Bring a Partner to the Gallery
This part isn't built for one person. One crew member needs to reach the security office, open the camera system, and complete the override sequence. A second player waits at the gallery doors, then heads in as soon as the locks release. It sounds simple, but timing helps. Don't send both players wandering through the same rooms. Call out when the camera interaction begins, and have the collector ready by the upper exhibition entrance.
- Assign one player to surveillance and one to collection
- Finish the required equipment work before the finale
- Check each case before spending time searching elsewhere
Prepare for Missing Displays
The cases need the proper equipment from the setup phase. Shooting or hitting them won't do the job. There's another wrinkle: previously taken pieces may not return right away. An empty case can show an Object Removed for Study notice, which means that version won't help on that attempt. When that happens, join another player's finale or give your own loot selection time to cycle. It's less frustrating once you treat each run as a chance to fill one gap, rather than expecting every target at once.
Make Every Crew Run Useful
Credit is shared generously. You don't have to host the heist, and you don't have to be the player who picks up the item. If someone on the crew secures a needed gem or fragment, everyone present receives progress. Normal and Hard difficulty both qualify, so choose the setting your group handles comfortably. That flexibility makes coordinated repeat runs far easier, especially when friends are also comparing cheap GTA 5 Modded Accounts and planning which Career Progress goals to tackle next.
